MOUNT LAUREL, NJ, MAY 1 2007 -- In honor of the 8th System Administrator Appreciation
Day, celebrated annually on July 28, the League of Professional System
Administrators (LOPSA) is pleased to reintroduce www.sysadminday.com, which
recognizes the contributions of system administrators each year.
Last year, with LOPSA's help, the System Administrator Appreciation Day website
underwent an extensive redesign, allowing for easy navigation and more
streamlined information. This year, LOPSA is helping make www.sysadminday.com
even more vibrant, active, and participatory for the community as a whole. The
website attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors each year, and provides an
opportunity for sysadmins, IT, and network professionals all around the world
to be recognized for their long hours, hard work and dedication.
The website includes a brief history of sysadmin day, chapter information, a
photo gallery, great gift ideas for your special sysadmin, links to fun ecards,
and much more.
"System Administrator Appreciation Day is the perfect opportunity to show your
gratitude to the system administrators and IT professionals who work tirelessly
behind the scenes," commented Sam Albrecht, LOPSA Executive Director.
"This website is the premier resource for everything you need to know about
SysAdminDay 2007!"
