I'll second this. Way Back When, the idea behind WiPs was to give a
sneak preview of the paper you were going to write for next year's
conference. Or it was for people to be able to say, "I'm thinking of
writing a paper on this; should I, or am I crazy?" Keep 'em short,
sweet, and to the point -- and then hope for feed-back after the
session.
