The Board of Directors of LOPSA will be meeting this Sunday, December 4, from
9am-12:30pm in Pacific Salon 6 of the Town & Country Hotel in San Diego,
California (the site of the LISA conference).

The schedule is a business meeting of the Board, followed by a strategy and
brainstorming session.

All LOPSA members in good standing are free to observe the business
meeting and participate in the brainstorming, but this is a small room and
seating will be very limited.

Don't worry if you're unable to attend and want to give your input on LOPSA
while at LISA. There are plenty of other opportunities to speak with Board
members:

* LOPSA will have a booth in the exhibit hall while it is open (Wednesday
and Thursday). Come meet our Executive Director, Sam Albrecht, and
other Board members and LOPSA volunteers.

* The LOPSA Community Meeting is Wednesday from 6:30pm-8:00pm, in the San
Diego Room. The entire Board will be present to take your questions and
   input.

* After the Community Meeting, LOPSA Executive Director Sam Albrecht will
be hosting a BoF on Effective Volunteering, from 8:00pm-9:00pm in the
Britany Room. Come learn how you can contribute to LOPSA's future by
   being an effective volunteer!

* After you've visited LISA After Dark, come check out LOPSA After Dark.
Our hospitality suite will be open every evening from Tuesday through
Friday. It's on the first floor of the tower facing the pool; we'll
post a notice with the room number on the notice board.

* On Thursday night, several LOPSA Board members will be hosting BoFs.
Please check the BoF board for details.

* Board members will be wearing LOPSA Board ribbons. Feel free to speak
to us in the "hallway track."

Our apologies for the late notice, but as you know, much has been in flux in
the past few weeks! Thank you for your understanding.

Trey Harris
LOPSA Board of Directors
