[lopsa-discuss] Recording & Webcasting?

Anyone have any experience with webcasting? Or any resources for
doing so next week?

I'm hoping to record and/or webcast anything I can get permission to
of the BOF's.

I'd really like to get the LOPSA community meeting out there, live,
if possible, maybe with some questions coming from an IRC channel
back in.
I think for that to work, I'd need to get someone w/ some either
Quicktime Steaming Server & bandwidth.

I'd also like to get some of the bof's on various other things up &
recorded, like Sam's Effective Volunteering, or maybe some of the
content based ones, like my Windows admin (Multi-platform) one.

I think Video may be too big an undertaking for this, at this point,
and takes too much space & bandwidth. Audio should be possible to
get a decent stream out of LISA.. and hey- it's actual *content*!

(I think we also have volunteers from the various LOPSA board members
giving BOF's to have them recorded, so anyone that wants to help
out.. give me a shout offline. I suspect we can do something as easy
as record into MP3, from a laptop, via an input from the mic system..
or something like that. Maybe. I'm probably wrong... wouldn't be
the last time, and definitely not the first.
