I am happy to convert powerpoint or other MS formats into PDF (I have a
copy of writer, and copies of word, right here at home). I imagine that
PDF is going to be one of the best formats to use (for slides and such),
since nearly everyone has at least xpdf. I'd also suggest html or
plaintext as a second format. As to audio, most people can deal with
.mp3 stuff; let me suggest that.
As to stenographic capability: I'd suggest that anyone who took notes
could always volunteer them. Personally, I like slides, but not audio,
and will probably only download (or look at) slides or other static content.
