Speaking mostly for myself, but I am also the LOPSA Board member charged
with local groups issues, I would characterize our current relationship
as "friends".

We need to figure out how we can help and support local groups (and how
they can help and support us), and what the formalities of those
relationships should be.

I will soon be contacting all the local groups that I know of, and
putting out a call for others who want to be involved, to start that
discussion.
