That can be one of the advantages, but I love mine 'cause it requires
*no* configuration of my laptop at all! I plug it in, point my browser
at it, login in, magic happens, and I'm connected.

Mine almost does, if you have a big pocket. It easily fits in my jacket
pocket or in my laptop bag -- and since I need my laptop to use it, why
do I care if it fits in my shirt pocket?

Nope. More than 95% of the time, my box auto-detects everything it needs
and just works; the rest of the time, all that I have to do it set stuff
like channel/frequency, speed, etc. There's really nothing else to set;
there's certainly no O/S to touch, no IP config, etc. And again,
*NOTHING* has to be done on my laptop.

It really is a wonderful box --too bad AT&T doesnt' sell it. I'm trying
to get OEM info; if I do I'll post it.
