I haven't found implementation details (yes, hardware v software is
merely a detail) or even brand name to be a reliable predictor of the
quality of a particular product. Speaking of particular products, are
any of you willing to disclose exactly which vpn devices you issue to
users? I've seen plenty of software products (and some authentication
devices, which is surely a different topic), but I don't see any 'I
hand out Netscreen 5XTs and they works for my users' etc.
