[lopsa-discuss] KVM over IP?

I connected an ATEN CN6000 to a Belkin OmniView Pro 8-Port KVM switch. It has
worked quite well, allows authentication using local accounts or RADIUS, and
so far I've been able to do everything remotely that I would have done at the
console (including PXE-booting a Linux server from scratch). The software is
Windows oriented - you need Windows to set it up, but it does have non-Windows
access once it is installed. Since you mentioned Windows servers, the Windows
setup requirement doesn't sound like a problem. (:-)
The ATEN was under $500 at Fry's. I haven't found anything much cheaper, if
you do find such a device I'd be interested (for home use - another form of
non-profit, or at least low-profit enterprise :-).
