Hi all,

I'm trying to kick-start O'Reilly's focus on system administration,
so I've started blogging for them. It's no secret that I'm not
exactly thrilled with the state of system administration today, so
I'm mostly blogging about this in an attempt to get a bit of a
conversation started.

Here's my first real post (other than an introduction):

why_isnt_system_administration.html

ComputerWorld.au just published an interview with me that covers a
lot of this same ground, along with how I'm trying to fix some of it
with Puppet:

It is said that power corrupts, but actually it's more true that power
attracts the corruptible. The sane are usually attracted by other
things
  than power. -- David Brin
