We need to try out the drupal event management module and see how well it
works.
Many local groups are never going to be organized, but we can help out by
providing mechanisms that provide a semblance of organization.

I hope this is something LOPSA can really help with. One way is by finding
speakers. Another way is by providing materials and mechanisms that make
it easy for people to be speakers.
LOPSA could provide good presentations that could be used by those who
aren't yet comfortable with writing their own presentation. LOPSA could
also provide feedback on presentations locals are writing.
We need not only a pretty good practices for change management, but also a
couple of presentations that can be used. For instance, it would be good
to have an elevator pitch, an extended presentation for giving to mgt and
one for giving to tech groups.

External sources like this are probably our best bet for running an
organization, so we can concentrate on sysadminny things.
