working on austin lopsa

Hello,
While introducing myself to the events coordinator of AustinLUG via email, I
discovered a few things I just couldn't answer and a quick trip to the website
didn't really help to clear it up. These are things that could potentially
come up in the future and it would be nice to have a clear, concise answer for
them. Yes, these are obvious questions with mostly obvious answers;
they're just not obvious enough to me (and, hey, ... the FAQ looks so
thread-bare ;-).
* What is the official name for the group? What is the incorporated
name?
On the website, I've seen "SAGE, Inc", "The System Administrators
Guild, Inc.", and "League of Professional System
Administrators".
I would presume that I should refer to the group as The League of
Professional System Administrators.
* When did LOPSA (as we now know it) officially start?
http://governance.lopsa.org/index.php/Articles_of_Incorporation
shows both Oct 29, 2004 for SAGE, Inc, but then a note about
refiling as The System Administrators Guild, Inc. Additionally,
if you read through the memos to members, on Nov. 14 2005 is
mentioned as a date where the organization was changed to
LOPSA.
I would presume Nov. 14 is the date I want.
* Where can I find the list of board members?
I had to stumble around until I found it on About Us page. I kept
looking for a node dealing specifically with the Board.
* Is there a good, concise history of LOPSA?
I wasn't part of Usenix/SAGE when the split occurred, so it's difficult
trying to piece together all the bits and pieces of what's happened
over the last 18 months based on what's in the member memos.
* Where's the LOPSA presentation?
I'm an idiot and lost the URL again. Can we get a node set up for it?
* How do we get questions added to the FAQ? Is feedback at lopsa.org the
recommended way?
Travis
