Hi, Bob et al.
I'm not very knowledgeable about such things, but I will be glad to give
feedback and help make things happen.
I'm starting to talk up a local LOPSA-ish kind of thing for Knoxville,
Tennessee. Currently we're discussing what our initial target audience should
be. On one hand, it could be UNIX/Linux oriented and we could try to do that
very well. On the other hand, we could be very general IT admin at first
(windows, unix/linux, network, security, full-timers, part-timers, "Holy crap
yesterday I was the ordering clerk and now I'm the server admin", etc.) and
then proceed (perhaps in segmented communities) based on feedback and interest
from a wider group of people.
If anyone has any thoughts on that, I'd be glad to hear them.
Thanks,
Matt
