[Lopsa-regional-project] Q: What should go in a LOPSA Chapter Kit?

Hi,
The LOPSA Regional Organization Project is warming up again and I'm
looking for some feedback, specifically for ways the national
organization can help new chapters grow and mature.
What material and information does a new chapter need? What's most
important? It may be as simple as a page of dos and don'ts, a FAQ, and a
big pile of stickers - I don't know. That's why I'm asking.

As an aside, people have shown interest in creating new chapters in
Pittsburgh[1], Indianapolis, and NYC. My personal goal for this year is
chartering five new chapters, which I think is a reasonable stretch from
the three groups that have already expressed interest.
To meet this goal, I believe the national organization needs to respond
quickly and effectively to local groups trying to form chapters. The
LOPSA Board is reviewing the existing requirements and support
commitments to local chapters which should address the "quickly" part of
the previous statement; developing a solid Regional Chapter Kit should
address the "effectively" part.
