[Lopsa-regional-project] stuff to present?

Hello,

I just joined LOPSA, not yet as a member because first I'd like to see
a bit how it evolves, anyway - do you have some startup material to
give a talk/presentation about LOPSA. I'd like to hold 2 of them at
the LUG in my area and at the so called Metalab, the latter is a loose
group of people who organizes all kinds of talks/events for technical
topics. There have been quite some presentations on very specific
topics (Advanced Subversion, Oracle Hints and somesuch) but there
isn't any direction one could see in terms of admin topics.

A lot of other fields have regular talks (computer graphics, linux
kernel development most notably). And I'd like to at least try to
start the same direction for the administrational topics.

I joined the both projects

 * https://lopsa.org/profile/project_regionalgroups and
 * https://lopsa.org/profile/project_speaker

to get necessary information (I'm a chaotic person and find the best
motivation usually in doing something sooner than later, so this isn't
any critics on getting - or rather not getting - some material as the
project page states in any timely manner. Just to make sure nobody
feels insulted)

So I'm actually asking for 2 things here:

a) hints and tips on building a regional community, supportive
material that exists
b) same as the above but with the topic being PR material for or from
LOPSA itself
