as announced, LOPSA's first in-person training event is coming to the
Valley at the beginning of November.

We need volunteers at the local level to put this on.

Since we're the first LOPSA local chapter, it'd be really cool if we can
set a good example by doing an excellent job.

Besides, we're sysadmins, so we're just dripping in copious spare time :).

I'd like to setup some local organization meetings so we can help get the
word out and prepare for the seminar.

Who can make it to the PLUG meeting Thursday night?

Several of us often go out to Filibertos ( high dining for that time of
night ) afterwards. Not the best time of day, but maybe an opportunity as
several of us are already planning on being at the meeting.

Next week we can descend on the GNU/Linux Stammtisch Tuesday night :).

BTW, there will be a press release from LOPSA tomorrow. Next Monday there
will be another one announcing local orgs that are helping co-promote the
event. If you have a group that would like to help co-promote please let
me know.

Early registration must be in before the 15th to get the discount.
