System Installer suite. Much easier (IMHO)
You setup a gold image server, image it , then system installer suite
copies the image to your system and lets you run a postinastall script.
It uses PXE and then rsync to copy in the image from the initrd boot.
standard install takes about 7 minutes (depending on amount of stuff and
architecture).
Combine with FlameThrower to do multicast installs to as many machines as you
want in parallel in constant time.
(you can have multiple images, of course)
